How To Write Chinese In Windows 8

Is at that place any way to enlarge the IME pad area? I've tried writing on it on a tablet and it feels a fleck small given how fatty my fingers are. It besides doesn't seem to be as authentic or responsive equally the Windows Telephone 7 Chinese Handwriting input or the iPad. Are there plans to improve the IME pad functionality to at least match WP7 if not the iPad?

Hello! Finally I find out how to do it!

so the solutions that the others have given is totally bullshit.

To able to have the handwriting characteristic (IME Pad)for Chinese or whatsoever countries in Window eight, you Practice NOT have to download anything.

Go to control panel, languages,

On the left hand side bar, printing ' Advanced Setting'

Scroll down and you will encounter 'Switching input method'

Tick the box ' Employ the desktop language bar when it'due south avaliable'

And information technology asks yous to log off,

Later the bar shows up, it looks the same as the former window,

Choose Chinese (Taiwan), Tool menu, IME Pad (Don't forget to switch it to Chinese from English before choosing the IME Pad)

Thats it.

Your instructions are very easy to follow. I was able to follow all the steps and the IME pad shows upwardly, only only in the ACER screen. When I tried to utilize it in my Gmail/Yahoo mail, it does not work. In Windows7, information technology works anywhere.

Well. I don't know how to use IME pad in the mail app

But the easy way is to utilise google chrome to go to your email. Then you can use IMEpad whenever you want.

I went out of windows8, and just utilise Google to go to my mail, I was able to use the IME PAD without whatever problem.

I followed all the steps, merely cannot find the "tool" card after switching to Chinese (Taiwan), pls suggest any settings that I didn't plow on.
