How To Change 32 Bit To 64 Bit Windows 10

Hello,

There is no directly way to catechumen 32-bit Windows 10 into 64-bit Windows 10, unless you brand make clean install of 64-bit Windows 10 by formatting 32-bit Windows x.

Switching to 64 flake is only possible through a make clean install, which would remove all of your applications. It is merely recommended if your device >4GBs of RAM,

The only way to go from the 32bit version of Windows x to that 64bit is to clean install the 64bit version

That will mean you would have to backup your data, re-install Windows, restore your data and re-install all 3rd political party applications . . .

You can reinstall Windows x at whatsoever time and it will not price you annihilation !

Since you previously had Windows x installed and activated on that PC during the installation procedure skip the steps which inquire for a product key and select the pick 'I am Reinstalling Windows 10 on this PC', and activation will not be an issue, your PC will have a digital entitlement stored on the Microsoft Activation Servers

i. Making Sure Windows 10 64-fleck is Compatible With Your PC
Press Windows central + I from keyboard.
Click on Organization.
Click on About.
Check the system blazon, if it says: 32-fleck operating organisation, x64-based processor then your PC is running a 32-flake version of Windows ten on a 64-bit processor. If information technology says 32-bit operating system, x86-based processor , and then your computer doesn't support Windows 10 64-flake version.

ii. Creating a Windows 10 Installation Media
Connect a USB drive to your system, the USB media must have at least iv GB gratis infinite.
Visit Microsoft's Windows ten download page.
Download the Media Creation Tool by clicking the Download tool at present button.
Run the MediaCreationTool.exe.
Have the license terms.
Choose to Create an installation media for some other PC.
Click Next.
Uncheck Apply the recommended options for this PC.
Brand certain to select 64-bit architecture (x64).
